Service Description:Nestled in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside, Staunton-on-Wye Pre-School has been providing high-quality early years education since 1984. Since 2010, we have been proud to operate from our modern, eco-friendly premises, offering a bright, welcoming environment with direct access to a large, secure outdoor play area—perfect for learning through play in all seasons.
Our experienced and highly qualified Early Years Practitioners are passionate about nurturing confident, happy learners. Working in line with the EYFS Statutory Framework, they carefully support each child’s development while encouraging, independence,resilience and a love of learning. We also offer a much-loved Breakfast Club and After-School Club for children attending nearby Staunton-on-Wye Primary School, providing continuity of care in a familiar and friendly setting.
As a registered charity led by a dedicated volunteer committee, we value strong partnerships with parents and carers. Your involvement is warmly welcomed and plays an important role in our preschool community.
We are fully GDPR compliant and ICO registered, ensuring your family’s information is handled safely and responsibly.
We are open 8am - 4.30pm Monday and Friday and 8am - 5.30pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Early Education Funding (EEF) is available between 9:00am and 3:00pm. We provide healthy snacks for just 20p per snack and nutritious hot lunches for £2.00.
