Service Description:Abacus 2000 Nursey School is located within close proximity to the town of Ross-On-Wye, set in its own spacious grounds. Our extensive gardens include a large grass area where the children can run around and explore, while also playing with the mud kitchen, the tree house or sit in the calming corner. To the rear of the nursery we have a sensory garden and an organic garden where the children plant and harvest various fruit and vegetables. To the front of the nursery there is a large tarmac area where the children can ride on bikes and scooters, play on the ride-on toys and have fun playing in the Dutch Barn. The nursery has three main playrooms, the baby room is a safe and secure environment where the youngest members of the nursey can explore and engage in many different sensory activities. The toddler room is a free-flow playroom, the children can go outdoors and explore the secure area which is set up daily with different activities as well as play inside and take part in the different creative craft. The Kindergarten classroom has its own indoor climbing frame, creative house and role play kitchen area. Each week the nursery follows a different theme and the children explore this through art and craft, music and movement, cookery, sensory exploration and so much more.
