| Service Description: | At Orleton Pre-School, our Wraparound Childcare service provides a warm, familiar, and nurturing environment for children after the school day. Located in the heart of the village, our setting offers a safe and welcoming space where children can relax, play, and continue learning through meaningful experiences.
We offer an After School Club running until 17:30 for children aged 2–11 years, giving families flexible, dependable care at the end of the school day. In addition, we run Easter and Summer Holiday Clubs for children in the same age range, providing engaging, play-rich sessions throughout the school holidays, all delivered by the same caring, qualified team the children know and trust.
Our staff team is one of our greatest strengths. All practitioners are highly qualified, with extensive Early Years experience and a deep understanding of child development. We pride ourselves on providing consistent, caring adults who know the children well and build strong, trusting relationships with families. Many of our team have been part of the Orleton community for years, bringing continuity and a family feel that larger providers often cannot offer.
Our ethos centres on play-based learning, independence, and emotional wellbeing. During Wraparound sessions, children have access to the same high-quality indoor and outdoor environments as during Pre-School hours, including our creative play zones, quiet areas, and stimulating outdoor space. Children are offered a choice of activities—from arts and crafts to construction, small-world play, imaginative role play, and outdoor exploration—allowing them to unwind, follow their interests, and develop confidence at their own pace.
What sets us apart is our belief that Wraparound care should be more than supervision—it should be a rich extension of the child’s day, filled with opportunities to socialise, discover, and enjoy themselves in a calm, homely setting.
