| Service Description: | Trinity TreeTots Nursery is a privately run not for profit term time only facility situated within the grounds of Trinity Primary School. Although not a formal part of the school it is expected that all children who attend our setting will eventually transition to Trinity once they reach school age. We have strong links with the school who allow us to use many of their exciting resources such as the conservation area, playing field, school hall and stage. There are also opportunities to meet some of the teaching staff. Once children become familar with the school environment they often gain a sense of belonging which makes the transition from nursery to school an exciting and enjoyable experience. In our setting we recognise and value childhood as being a very special and magical time. Most importantly, we want the children who attend to grow into adulthood with happy memories of their time with us. Therefore, we aim to give them the best possible nursery experience we can whilst equipping them with the skills, interests, passions and attributes to set them on a pathway into formal and further education. We firmly believe in the value of play, apart from being fun and exciting it provides opportunities for our children to generate their own ideas, be free to explore, let thier imaginations run, solve problems and work through things that puzzle them. |
