Service Description:
Pembridge Pre-School offers quality sessional education and care for 2-4 year olds. The Pre-School is situated in the Village Hall and we have an enclosed outdoor play area which looks out onto green fields. We provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment that promotes learning through play, using a wide range of resources and the opportunity for the children to develop their social skills as they play alongside and with other children. We also plan for and deliver activities, fostering children’s individual interests, cultural beliefs and all areas of development. We aim to work in partnership with parents and carers to ensure children have the very best start in life through our provision of a stimulating and exciting environment in which the children will learn and develop. We provide an all inclusive environment where each and every child is treated, respected and valued as an individual. We offer individual care and attention, alongside a specially tailored curriculum, where appropriate, helping children to achieve their full potential. The children are supported by 4 highly qualified staff who are always at hand to guide, comfort and encourage each child. Staff are qualified at level 3 or higher and all have paediatric first aid qualifications, are trained in safeguarding and food hygiene. We have one member of staff who has an Elklan level 4 speech and language qualification who gained accreditation for the setting to become a Communication Friendly Setting. We work in partnership with health visitors, other early years settings and the local primary school to ensure your child has a smooth transition to school.
