Service Description:
Wraparound provision for St James Primary School is ran by St James Breakfast & Afterschool Club which is privately ran on the school grounds.

Our aim is to provide an out of hours club that gives your children a place where they can play and learn alongside their school friends and also provide flexible childcare for parents and carers. We believe we offer excellent value and reliability with trained and experienced staff. We also have licenced Thrive trained staff working within our club hours - wellbeing and healthy minds are important to us.

We are committed to providing high quality wraparound care on site for St James school pupils. The club provides a safe, friendly, caring environment in which children are encouraged to play and develop personal and recreational skills under the supervision of trained and experienced staff. A wide variety of activities will be provided at every session and we encourage the children to contribute to planning their day so they get a tailor-made club full of things they personally like to do.

Within the session times children will be able to have snacks and drinks, physical exercise, enrichment activities such as arts and crafts, science projects, growing & nature or music and drama. Children will also get the chance to take part in baking and cookery activities, learn about healthy lifestyles and nutrition, as well as first aid skills and homework help. The children enjoy mixing with all age ranges and the relaxed atmosphere of a home from home environment. Screen time will be limited!
