Service Description:Walford Nursery & Primary School is situated within the beautiful village of Walford, on the outskirts of the market town of Ross on Wye.
We aim to create an environment that inspires endless curiosity and for our teachers to nurture children’s ideas into incredible learning experiences. Curriculum enrichment activities including Forest School, Sensory Sensations with Amazing Annabel, Tennis Tots with Activate Sport, My First Yoga with Tracey and Inspiring Creativity with our very own local artist, Rachel Shilston, ensures that the Walford learning journey ignites a life-long passion of discovery and high aspirations for all of our children.
Situated within The Boynton Lodge, our homely and cosy environment combines the outdoors with the indoors, giving every child the opportunity to thrive and learn in their own unique way. From joint planning, teaching and learning through to moderation and organised events such as EYFS parent/carer workshops, assemblies, sports days and a range of transition activities, our highly qualified teachers ensure that every child in our preschool is well supported in readiness for their move into Reception Class.
EEF can be taken between 7.45am - 5.30pm.
The following optional extras will be charged separately:
£3.00 - daily breakfast (cereal, toast, jam/marmalade, juice, fruit)
£5.00 - daily lunch / snacks (morning / afternoon snacks and a 2-course lunch, fruit, yogurt)
£3.00 - daily consumables (nappies, creams, wipes, etc.)
Please note, there will be charges for the following:
£8.00 - Late Collection charge – a fee will apply if your child is collected after the end of designated session times. This charge will automatically be added to invoices.
£3.00 - Session Modification charge – modifying session patterns, adding sessions will incur a small charge per change.
£8.00 (per hour) - Additional Hours beyond your funded entitlement. Additional hours can only be booked per session.
Please note, adhoc additional sessions are available on request and are not included in your funded hours, therefore, will be charged as additional hours.
