Service Description:HLC Nursery is based at Herefordshire and Ludlow College.
We offer a happy, friendly, stimulating and caring environment to all children and parents. This helps to promote your child’s progress and development and enable them to reach their full potential before going to school.
At present there are places to take 35 children per session, age ranging from six months to four years and 11 months. The nursery facilities are designed to cater for college students with young children, enabling them to take advantage of various full or part time courses at the college, with the assurance that their child will be well cared for on site. We do also offer places out to the general public.
We follow the EYFS to support all children with their individual learning and development and discuss development records throughout the year to ensure we have a strong parent partnership.
The nursery is open term time only. But we also offer a play-scheme during holidays that runs subject to numbers.
We accept 2, 3 and 4 year old NEF and can also be flexible on times to accommodate your hours ranging from 15 hours to 30 hours per week.
All staff have childcare qualification from level 2 or above and are also Safeguarding and first aid trained to ensure the welfare of all children at all times.
We have a disabled access and facilities for parents to leave pushchairs/car seats.
We have a secure video entry and have a garden attached to the nursery for daily outside play and opportunities.
