Service Description:
The nursery building has direct access to a secure outside play area, which is at the back of the building, where we have a gazebo and a decked area which leads to a tarmac surface which we are able to use all year round.
At the front of the nursery we have a grassed area in which we have a story time circle and an authentic wooden play house. We also have access to the school playing fields which gives us large secure open spaces for the children to explore freely. Within this area the children have the opportunity to grow their own vegetables and flowers and continues to be developed by the children. The building itsself has a ramp to the from door providing eacy acccess for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
At KES we aim to go for walks to explore the local area within our community, this includes the local parks, church, post office and a farm. When a trip is being planned which involves transport we are able to use the Kingstone High School mini bus or we hire a coach.
